so... i heard today the store replace a newbreed for a customer, a brand new newbreed for his one that was dinged, very badly, and kinda breaked apart when QW was testing the yoyo condition, breaks after just a throw. well atleast according to what i was told, this customer din't demand for a replacement, and show attitude, its boss who ask the store keeper to replace one.
fine.
and ytday there's this customer who call and talk about his speeder shims spoilt, i ask him if he did take apart the yoyo, he did not answer my question, he keep saying he did not touch the bearing, the thing is if u take apart, and did not place the shims properly when u assemble them back, OF CAUSE you'll spoil the shims..... at the end of the phone call he said BOTH the speeder and shims are spoilt. he's trying to make me promise him a replacement, which i can't cause i need to see the condition, if you cause the damage, how can we replace?
and also there's a father who wants a replacement for his yoyo cause teh caps keep popping out, ok, thats a faulty yoyo, i understand, but the particular design we got are ALL meant for reserve orders, ow can we just take theirs to give u when we've already inform them its here for them?
i understand u live far, u don't want to come again, etc, but would u be happy if i called to tell u your yoyo is here, and then i just give it to someone else just because they don't want to make another trip down? be reasonable la...
and a few other fucked up cases.
i understand most singaporean are fucked up customers, you can't fucking deny that.
and some sales rep are also fucked up, i won't deny that cause I've seen it myself during my times as a sales rep at a sports store, and my assistant manager is FUCKED UP.
but the thing is this is a hobby, a passion, a sport.
we're the only professional shop and club here in singapore.
the store keepers ARE players, not just typical sales rep that "sells the yoyo and its your own business"
we help u out when there's problem with your yoyos, even when its not bought from us.
u pick up this hobby, u'll eventually get to noe us all, becomes friend with us, so, WHY MUST U FIND FAULT WITH US? i don't get it, you buy something, u spoiled it, u wanna push the blame to us, want a free replacement (i'm not referring to the first customer mentioned on top, but there's many cases like that, they DEMAND replacement, especially the parents), IF its a factory fault, i'm sure the store WILL replace u a new one, u don't demand a replacement for something u spoiled. u bought it, 3 days later u drop your yoyo on the floor with a hard impact, it crack, so u think its our fault? just because u spend alot on it u think its unbreakable? antiques are all over 1K, 10K, so what, u drop it and see if it doesn't break?
you guys wanna be unreasonable customers, i really really don't know how we can be friends in future when u become more serious in this sport. are we gonna be friends with u and trade tricks with u when u try to scam your way through to get a free replacement, worse of all, react so hostile and act like its our fault which it isn't. i don't know.... really.
fine.
