since Yuuki mentioned he's probably not competing at worlds.
and Ben mentioned ando is not gonna join 2A this year so as to concentrate on 1A.

RED DYE...

more then 30mins ago, i dyed some of my yoyos red.
wanted a red translucent FAST201. so here it is. lucky its pretty obvious in the picture.



and was trying to see if the gray body wud take in red, if it cud i'll have a solid red Hayabusa, yes i wanted a gray body FHZ, but it just isn't a FHZ... so i'll try all red. but din't turn out so well...



and decide to try the aquarius before doing SuiKai's... he wanted to do purple, but just on the rim, not the body... and since i got a white one lying around and pretty abused. mite as well try on it first.... turns out not bad IMO....




now to the hubstacks! i wanted red hubstacks... the translucent red don't appeal to me so much... i prefer opaque instead of trans... love it.




gonna try to get more Delrin white hubstacks....

recently see syafiq and gang got interested in Tekken game, and it brought back the interest i have for the tekken series, and i found out there'll be a Tekken movie in 2009. HOLYSHIT, gotta watch it!

many people are criticising for not looking for an asian to act as Chun-Li... but IMO, i think Kristin Kruek looks fine. she's pretty. and even in comis, Chun-Li don't look chinese most of the time anyway.... Kristin got big eyes. nice.

in the Lengend of Chun-Li, there'll also be Gen, Nash, Bison(vega), Balrog(m.bison) and Vega(balrog). definitely no Ryu and Ken. and i'm guessing since there's Nash, there won't be Guile... just a guess.

haven't tried kentaro new pads. looking forward. gonna dye my Milk 2% 'chocolate'. and not gonna lend it to anyone either, cuz after dying, if hit, it'll make a very ugly not removable marking on the yoyo. realise this on a FHZ. safety first.

BLACK DYE

i suddenly got interested in black translucent yoyos... i think they just look pretty cool...
its good that the plastic takes in black better then green. if u look on the previous post, i couldn't get the FAST201 to show its green in the photo... but this is pretty obvious.






dyed my transparent fh2 as well... this takes in too fast, i din't plan to get it so dark... but oh well... turns out nice too imo...




i dyed my HWW too, it turns out brownish but still likes it BUT... i think due to the heat and water wash contraction... i dunno... the nut won't fit in anymore... damn. so i din't take any photos...

this is the first FHZ that i dyed, i use acetone to wipe off the dye and it turn out matte... not glossy anymore... i try to make like swirly color and fail as well.. oh well... but after the wiping off, it grinds very well... have no idea y.



can't get the FAST201 to show its green on photos... gotta see it in person.

went to dye somethings again.
dyed Melvin's hubstacks, he want it dark so i dye til its dark.


the darker ones are Melvin's, they're delrin hubstacks...
the lighter ones are mine, polycarbonate, i like Mel's... thats why i'm looking for delrin hubstacks...
i'm trying to convince myself they look good on my purple b-grade. the delrin ones looks better.


then off to the FHZ. always want a purple one.... i think i just love purple yoyos... purple 888, purple 401SD, purple ace II, etc.



so QingWen! if you're reading this, this is how the purple will turn out... this is the darkest i can get it to show... and it looks somewhat marbleize instead of solid purple. lemme know if u want it done.
